GREENWICH—News was received yesterday of the death Tuesday of Carson Calhoun of smallpox in quarantine at St. Louis. He had been a teacher in the Philippine Islands, but came to St. Louis as interpreter and manager of a tribe of Bogobos at the World’s Fair. The deceased was a young man, a native of Greenwich and a graduate of the Greenwich High School. He is survived by his mother.
